Your scrolling history

This policy explains how ScrollReceipt handles information in the iPhone app. We designed the app to work without an account and without sending your focus history to our servers.
Last updated: August 22, 2026What stays on your iPhone
ScrollReceipt stores your sessions, intentions, optional reflections, receipts, and app preferences locally on your device. This information helps the app show your history and weekly receipts.
What we don’t collect
We don’t require an account, track your social media activity, access Screen Time, sell personal information, or use your focus data for advertising.
Permissions are optional
Notifications are used only for reminders you choose. Photo Library add-only access is requested only when you choose to save a receipt image. You can change either permission in iOS Settings.
Widgets and Live Activities
Your selected intention and timer can appear in a widget or Live Activity when you enable those features. That information remains on your device and is not synced to a ScrollReceipt server.
Purchases and sharing
Pro purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details. If you export or share a receipt, you choose the destination and its privacy policy applies.
Your choices
You can export your data, import a backup, or delete your focus data from the app’s Data & Privacy screen. Removing the app also removes its locally stored data from that device.
